... As a service - Steve Makofsky comments on the drive to service-enable everything. I'm with Steve; if they put me in the focus group investigating "the software informally known as Visual Studio Live" my requests are going to revolve around taking the existing Internet-connected "features" and putting them quietly to sleep. Though I do rather enjoy having a heavyweight IDE to code in, I prefer having it run entirely local to my network - just like the rest of my applications.
